Members of the Eastern Virginia Brass
are now available to give private music
instruction on their instruments.

Each of the members has advanced degrees in music and is experienced in both performance

lessons are based on the musicians’ availabilities. Please keep in mind the Eastern Virginia
Brass is based in Hampton Roads.

Marlene Ford teaches horn at Old Dominion University and in her active private studio. (A specialist
in the fundamentals of good horn playing and “magically “changing good trumpet players into great horn
players!) She has performed with all the major orchestras in this area. Call 340-6406

For 18 years Lawrence Clemens was principal trumpet of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and trumpet
instructor at Seton Hall University. A Virginia Beach native, he is a much sought after for his
artistry and teaching skills. He performs throughout the area. Call 340-2139.

Dr. Robert Ford, trombone and low brass, performs and teaches throughout the area. He was formerly
trombonist with the Spokane, Virginia and Birmingham Symphonies. A student of Arnold Jacobs, he
continues the tradition of excellent teaching and musicianship. Call 340-6406.
